My Cuban wife has a B2 multiple entry to USA valid until approx. 2020. Her Cuban passport is valid until november 2018.
As you may know, the Cuban passport needs to be extended (not renewed) every 2 years. They put a small stamp inside. Her passport needs to be extended in Nov. 2016. If we enter the USA in August 2016, will CBP look at the passport's validation of 2018 or extended expiry of nov.2016 for the minimum 6 months valid entry check?
I would think they don't really care about the extension and will look at valid until xxx date.
