I am new member to this forum and this is my first post. Immihelp's visa preparation steps are excellent and i have used this to the extent. I am a silent observer of this forum and read everyday all the other posts and noted down the questions,answers and other situations.
I am thankful to the forum moderator, dhalia, visa chief and other members who indirectly helped me to apply B2 Visa for my parents and succeeded today.
Below are the details.
I would to like share that my parents got visitor visa today at Chennai consulate. This is their first attempt and everything went smooth. My dad is retired and mom is housewife. Language of interview is English. Visa Officer didn't ask any questions to my mom. All the questions(only 6) were asked to my dad.
1) What is your son doing in USA?
Working as YYYY in YYYY
2) How long do you want to stay in US?
Only 2 months.
3) Why you want only 2 months?
I have to come back and take care my aged mother.
4) Does your son sends you money?
Yes
5) Does he sends you money every month?
Not every month. During important occasions like marriage, festivals.
6) are you sure you want only 2 months?
Yes. Positive.
Ok go and pay the fees. Thats it.
I am very much thankful to Dhalia, Murali, Ronline and other senior members. You guys are doing a great job and keep up the good work.
I will update this post when i get information about the Visa validity etc.
