    Is My Birth Certificate Mandatory for my parents visa interview?

    One of the requirements I saw in vfs website and also in immihelp.com is enclosing sponsor's birth certificate. Is this a mandatory? Is everyone going for family visit, carrying their children's birth certificate? And is it checked in the consulate?

    Appreciate all replies.

      Yes birth certificate of the sponsor is compulsory and it is one of the important document.

        My mother did no take my birth certificate and she was not asked for it. But its better to be safe. So if you have it let them take it.

          Should the birth certificate of Sponsor be original or a copy of it would also work?
