To show strong ties with home country, can we show in the form of bank statements, properties and the turn-over of the business? If so, almost all the properties are on my mother's name and approximately 50 lakhs is on my father's name. will that suffice for dad to prove his strong ties with the home country? please advise.

Yes, that will suffice.
The strongest point will be the balance sheets/tax returns of the business.
