Regarding stamping at port of Entry(US)

Hello All,
My mother-in-law is planning to visit US in Aug. However my H1 visa is expiring on Jan 14 2017. Noramally at the port of entry they give 6 months duration for visitors B2 visa.
But in my case will they check my H1 expiration date and provide the same end date to B2 visa or total 6 months duration??

Your H1 visa has nothing to do with her B1/B2 visa. The I-94 dates issued would be at the discretion of the POE officer. The POE officer will not take your information into consideration for determining her dates.
