Hello everyone.
I am a permanent resident of Canada, and I am currently in Portugal (Europe). I am planning on going back to Canada in 2 months, as I am pregnant and can't travel after 36 weeks (am 21 weeks at the moment). The problem is that I have lost my PR card, and I need a PR travel document to go back to Canada by air. I don't know how long it takes to process, but I read somewhere it was 52 days, and that's too close. I also read that to enter the Canada in a private car, I don't need this document. So my question is, will it be okay to purchase a one way ticket to the US on a B2 visa? Or do I need a Visa at all, since I am from Portugal? And does anyone know what document I'll need to cross the border? I have a photocopy of my PR and the confirmation of PR they gave me in Canada when I became one.
Thank you in advance!
