Parents tax returns

Hi all,

My parents have an appointment in April. My father does buisness, his tax returns show a low income, but his actually income is much higher. If we tell low income then the chances of refusal are more. So are the tax returns documents mandatory? did any one face a similar problem of having low income in tax returns, if so then how did u manage to say a larger income.

Tax returns are commonly asked for, especially of business people.
Sometimes ,if you are lucky, the consular may ask for the registration and balance sheet for the business to assess the strength of the business and if satisfied, may not ask for the tax return.
