Hi
I have visitor visa interview for my grandmother and myself in Chennai.
We have the same appt time.
My grandmother doesn't know English. When I booked the appointment,Tamil Language dates were not available,So I gave the Language as English for my Grandmother.
Now,they have opened Tamil dates in August. We have our date in the first week of July. And I intend to fly in August if all goes right??!!
My question is,Is it necessary to change the language for my grandmother to reschedule both our appts?
I called VFS help-line,they said it's ok if any one of us is conversant in English.
Will the interviewer be very particular and take language barrier as a reason for rejection?Or can I ask for the interpreter there on the day of the interview?
Thanks in advance
Aishwarya
