I chose my MIL's passport to be courierd to Blue Dart Location in Chennai. Is it possible that we can get the passport on the same day if visa is issued?

I don't think that facility is there in Chennai.. But once the passport is ready, (u can check that online at VFS site), they will keep ur passport for pickup (on the day the passport is ready, NOt on the interview day) between the hours of 2.00-4.00PM before sending it to Bluedart...

Do we have to go inside the Consulate to pickup the passport or will it be distributed thru the outside counter (in chennai)?
