Telugu appointments not available in VFS

I'm trying to get Telugu apppointments for the Visitor visa of parents at Chennai Consulate thru VFS. Earlier it used to show the dates in Aug'06. But now it says 'No dates available'. Is this expected behaviour of the website when there are no available dates at all? In that case, when do they open the available appointments of next month i.e. Sep'06. My parents paid the VFS fee, but we couldn't get an appointment. Can you please let me know if there is an alternative?

Hmm no one has answer as to when SEP 06 appointments are going to be available. That is why I said I hate VFS website. We need to keep refreshing the appointment availablity page. This is rediculous.

Well the regional language interview for August are filled I think. You have to keep looking because sometimes they are available after some cancellations but if you are not in a hurry, the next slots will open when September comes up.

Becuase your parents already paid the application fee to VFS. Enter your parents information into the system DS-156,DS-157. Your application will be there until 30 days with out booking an interview appointment. Keep on checking the site(any time in our experience better time 8p.m-1a.m CST), the dates will open when other cancellations happen.

VFS website is not letting me to fill in DS-156/DS-157. I'm unable to proceed further when it tells there are no available appointments... Most unfriendly website on the earth...

dc_resident I know exactly what you are going through. I was also very very nervous and by God's grace August opened up. Keep checking for Sep dates. If your parents are even leas bit comfortable with English take an appointment just to be on the safe side. That's what we did. We took English for peace of mind and once Aug opened we cancelled July and took Aug. If it's not a problem then wait for Sep. June dates were opened on Jan 26th and they were gone in a week. Now July dates were opened on Mar 7th and were gone in a week as well. So there is no pattern as to when they will open etc.
