    ECR check required

    Hi,

    I am planning to apply for my mother's tourist(B2) visa for US from India. But I noticed that her passport has 'Emigration Check Required' stamped on it. Will it be an issue for her to get the tourist visa? If yes, What should I do about it?

    No problem,immigration check required only for those who are going for labor jobs in gulf countries not for USA

      While you are on the correct path, the phrasing is important here; it's 'Emigration check', with an "e".
