B2 visa extension whilst on a bail bond

I am a UK citizen and entered USA on a B2 visa 6 months ago. I have a pending criminal case on me hence I am on a bail bond at the moment and the case is still pending in the court. I applied at the court for judge to let me leave the USA but my application was denied hence i have applied for a B2 visa extension - what are the chances I will be granted the extension given I am on bail bond and have a criminal case pending in USA? Also if my application is rejected what does it mean for me?
