    Gurus,

My brother is planning on visiting US on tourist visa during summer to visit many places of interest. He is single and a practising lawyer. He intends to return within 3/4 weeks. Currently I am a permanent resident. What are the chances of him getting a visa considering that he is unmarried and has no property. What is best method for applying for tourist visa? Me sponsoring the trip or he himself sponsoring?

Also, has anyone had success in getting their single brother/sister on a tourist visa?

    Any advice welcome

Young and single people are more successful getting a B1/B2 for a business
reason than mere tourism, since they are the most suspect to stay
    back in US.
In your brother's case, he should apply only if
-he can demonstrate a strong , established , very well paying law practice.
-he should show enough funds in his bank and other deposits(10-12 lacs) and
solid tax returns to finance his own trip (you should not sponsor).
    - If possible he should show a business reason to visit, like attending
a conference etc rather than mere tourism.
