I don't really know much on how things work if someone wants to visit a relative here in United States, that's why I want to ask something here to know what is the best option I have. Here is the situation:
My friend's baby is in the Philippines and they only see each other via skype. Her child is a year and five months, I believe. My friend can't go by herself to visit her kid because of his abusive ex-boyfriend and also she doesn't want so see him. Seeing my friend's joy in her face everytime she talks to his child, makes me wanna do something about it. So i'm planning to surprise her by getting my friend's child a visitors visa so they could meet once again. I'll also have something to do in Philippines so I'll be going back there and if possible, I could be her kid's chaperone on the way to United States and back to Philippines. Anyway my question is, can I do that or is there any better option for my friend and his child? I really wanna surpise her with this idea i have but i don't know if that is possible. Any information, and advice you could give me would be much appreciated.
