Hello my husband is waiting for a visa but when applied the embassy stated he was ineligible due to previous convictions. However the oldest goes back to 1985 with no further issues since then. He already has had a 10 year visa, numerous 1 year visas and lastly a two year visa which he didn't get to use as it arrived one week after our travel date. Now we have waited 5 months and plan to fly in five weeks time. I've emailed but have been told nothing can be done and we just have to wait and it can take at least 6-8 months. Is there anything at all we can do so we don't miss this family holiday?
