US Visitors Visa For Mother

Hi Guys ,
I have a scenario regarding US travel visa for my Mother.
My mother got remarried after death of my father, me being her son from first marriage.

My mother’s surname is different than me-she uses the surname from her second marriage and discontinued the first surname which I have.
She is not having any certificate-death certificate for my father’s death or marriage certificate from both the marriages.

What options do u suggest in this case-Can I call my mother as Aunt or Step mother to do her visitor visa?

You do not apply for the visa for her, she applies for it herself, even if you are the one sponsoring her. If you or she states anything other than mother, that would be providing untrue information on a visa application and would constitute fraud. She will just apply and if asked, explain about the different surname. If she happens to have any documents from the past that would have both her name on it as well as your father's, she could bring something like that with her to the interview.

Thanks , I will let her apply as tourist visa on own (Self Sponsor) .

Can you help me in such case what all document she will need and what I need to provide .

She has 1 lakh in one saving account and 1 lakh in another saving account and 12 lakhs in FD and she filed return for last three years in India. Will this kind of bank balance will suffice .

She does has house/plot on her name but documents are not available at this point , She have Property tax and Electricity bill . will this suffice .
