reg DS 157 and itenary

When I took the appointment for my parents visa I asked the visa for 5 months. And the section which asked have u made any travel arrangments I told no.

Now last week I have booked the tickets for my parents with onward and return date on it (just took a risk).

Now will that be added advantage for me if I modify the DS 157 to state that I have made special travel arrangement and give the ticket details.

Or should I leave it as it is.

Also I asked visa for 5 months but the ticket is for just 2 months, should I change the visa duration also in that case.

Kindly let me know.

also tell me if modification of all these info will that modify my appointment date?

I would say no need to mention abt the tickets.. Just keep as it is.. This is just my opinion..

For sure I don't want to take any chances.

But I thought it will be advantageous to show them the return ticket with Date on it.
