  • Visa Rejection Help

I'm a filipina in the UAE with a father's visa. My dad owns a company here so my visa is under him and I want to visit the US to meet my BF who is also a filipino studying in Canada. We have an invitation from his relatives - his aunts and grandmother. He always visits there once or twice every 2 years.

I've been here for about 2 years and I'm earning around 6000 AED per month... thats about 2000 USD? per month. I also have around 6000 usd in savings and I'm planning to stay for about 3 weeks. Food and lodging will be provided by his family there.

I've already applied 2 times and got rejected. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong D: Please advice.

You're not necessarily doing anything wrong, rather it's your current circumstances. You sound as though you are young, do not have strong ties to home country, are a Filipino citizen, and are trying to come to the U.S. to visit your boyfriend. All of these things could cause a denial as you would be considered an immigration risk. Your chances of being approved are extremely low.

This is my opinion and not legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
