Visitor visa for my parents to visit my wife's graduation (wife is on F-1 Visa)
Hi,
I am on H1-B visa and would like to invite my parents for my wife's grad walk who is on F-1 Visa. My wife requested letter from University and got invitation letter from University. We filled DS 160 as self finance for my parents. They have 10 Lakhs in FD and around 6 lakhs in bank accounts from past One year. They are planning visit for a month.
So far i have sent following documents.
1) University invitation letter for convocation.
2) Invitation letter addressing to my parents from my wife.
3) My employment letter
4) My I- 797, W'2 , I-94, pay stubs
5) complete passports from both of us
6) land documents, affidavits are done
7) Marriage certificate
While writing cover letter do i need to write letter or should my wife address cover letter to consulate. If i write letter do i confuse VO officer ? Does my documents are necessary at all. I sent to them just in case.
