Hi, I'm an American citizen and my wife who I brought here 2.5 years ago is a green card permanent resident holder. Her mother applied who lives in Qatar applied for the visitors visa for her and her 14 year old son and got denie. From my understanding they need something to show that they will come back. Her mother has another son that Is 12 that did not apply because he will stay with his father while his mom comes visits for 2 weeks. My mother in law took proof of her working in Qatar, she took proof of her husband working in Qatar, she took proof of the kids school and proof of her second son that won't be coming to the states with her. I think that shows enough support that she has to come back to Qatar to get back to her work, husband, and child. How can we get her approved? I think she provided everything she could. Is it advisable for her daughter to write a letter and notarize it saying she takes full responsibility for travel costs and gaurentees her moms stay is only for a visit and that she will go back to Qatar? Need some help please.
Thanks.
P.S. I read something about to give documents to the consular unless they ask for it because that can get you refusal? Any thoughts? Because I was going to do the letter thing and have her mother show it to the consular with out them asking for it.
Thanks.
