Form DS-160 Previous US Travel Information

I am giving up my green card as I can no longer maintain US residency. I am applying for a visitor's visa and want to give in I-407 at same time as my interview. I want to know what to put on form DS-160 for date last visa was issued and visa number. Should I put in the date I last got a visitor's visa (this was ages ago, before I got my green card, and outside of my last 5 travel dates) or do I put the date I got my green card and the alien registration number? There is no where on the DS -160 form to indicate that I am giving up the card.

I am filling out the online DS-160 application and I see that they are also asking if I am a permanent resident of another country. Should I say 'yes' or 'no', seeing that I will be giving up my green card on the day of the interview? And if I say that I am a permanent resident of US would they even consider my application for visitor's visa seeing that there is no where on the form to say that I am giving up the card and you cannot apply for a visitors visa if you have a green card?

As per my understanding if you are surrendering green card you don't need to file ds-160 form. You need to fill I-407.

givng up green card and applying for visitors visa

Hi Thank you for your reply. I understand that I have to submit I-407 but I also want a visitors visa so I have to do DS-160 as well. I was planning to give up the card same day that I go for the interview for my visitors. I am just not sure how to answer some of the questions on DS-160. Do I answer as if I had already given up the card or do I give information on my card?
