Can I apply for an Adjustment of Status

My wife and 1 year old son are both U.S. Citizens and I'm a U.K. Citizen. I have a B2 Visa and came to the United States to attend the birth of my second child. Within a week of me entering the United States, my wife gave birth and I've decided to apply for an adjustment of status to stay with her and our now two children because I realized that they really need me to stay with them and my wife cannot cope without me. Can I apply for an adjustment of status so soon (before 30 days)? Will I be accused of having a preconceived intent?

What's your I-94 expiration date?

I would suggest to file the AOS after 90days of arrival date in US.
