Do I need a b2 non immigran visitors visor or can i use esta/vwp to visit my husband

Hello my husband and I recently got married in his home town of Portland Oregon, I have returned to the home to the UK to the complete my degree but i want to visit in December for a a few weeks whilst I am on my winter break from classes . Since we got married am I still entitled to travel on esta or can do I need to apply for another visa for example the visitors visa .. also will I have any problems at customs when I say I am visiting my husband as they may feel I am not going to return which I am as I dont finish my degree until June 2017 .

Did you change your name in the passport or change in marital status? If yes then, You have to apply for new ESTA authorization.
