visitor visa fee

The visitor visa fee changed meaning the $=Rs.44 and now $=rs. 46
My parents took appt. around nov. 2005 do they need to carry the draft for difference amount?
app.t taken after what date needs to carry the draft for difference amt.

yes, visa issuance fee now is Rs 2300 each

I know the change in the visa fee but want to know do my parents needs to carry the difference amt. of rs.200 or not (for visa application fee Rs.4400 as it was earlier)
If yes in what foam(menaing a HDFC receipt or a draft drawn on any antionlised bank)
And from which date this came in effect as they had taken their appt around nov.

The new VFS system came in October 2005 for other consulates and I think VFS was there for mumbai consulate from the beginning. If u 've already paid the appln fee at that time, no need to change that. Just take new visa issuance fee of Rs 2300
