B2 - Visitor Visa Refused 214(b)

Hi,

Yesterday My mother and my In-Laws went for B2 Visitor Visa at Mumbai Consulate , In-laws got visa and my mother's application has been refused under 214(b).

I am working on H1B and my wife is on H4. Below is the conversation with VO.

VO - where is your husband ? why he is not going with you.
Mother - He (my father) not physically fit to travel (in Marathi language)
VO - show me you documents

we are not sure , which document they had seen and no further questions were asked.

Now i am planning to reapply but before that need to understand why the earlier application was refused , and how can we prepare for re-application. This time I my father will go along.


Please suggest.

If they go for visa together, that would help.

Later, if your father does not feel like going to the US, your mother can visit alone.
