US visa to travel without spouse

Dear All,
I wish to travel to US with my son(9 year) for a pleasure trip and to visit my brother in US. Although my husband has a valid US visa, and he has been to US for a long time earlier, now he is not interested to accompany us.
What reason I should give, if VO ask why my husband is not coming? Should I say that he didn't get leaves approved or I should say that he is not interested or I should say that he has already visited US so now he does not wants to go.

Please advice me.
