Spelling mistake in companion name

Hi everyone,
I filled the online ds-160 form for my brother and mother who are travelling together. All the spellings are correct, except in my mother's form, in the companion section, instead of an A I typed an E for my brother's surname, his details are correct in his form, I have submitted the applications, should I submit a new one for my mother because of a mistake in the spelling of the companion's surname? Should the spelling of companions' names be according to the passport?

This should be fine. Did you already get appointment? if yes then You don't need to submit new one because the mistake is only in travel companion name. Otherwise you can submit new ds-160 form.
