  • B2 visa denied twice

    Hi,

In my first visa application, I had entered my mother's date of birth wrongly. Actually i forgot about the month of my mother's birthdate.

I forgot to bring my mother's visa and passport as well.

It was caught by the lady, sitting in the first counter who was checking the visa and ds -160.

She asked me several times to remember the correct the birth day but I told her the birth date i wrote in my visa application.

    I was given a 214b.

In my 2nd Visa application , I had correctly filled all the document fields.

This time another visa officer asked me :

What changes have u made ? (I had reapplied in a week)

I added that I had correctly filled the visa application, bought air tickets and brought all evidences this time.

I was asked what is my profession and how much do I earn?

I answered I am working in a MNC and earning 35000 per month.

However, after that she told she cannot give me visa, try for some time unless ur circumstances change.

I am in a confused state.

    1. Is it because I had given false information that I cannot get visa again? 2. What is the process to make it alright or I am not eligible for US visa?

    3. I am applying for a f1 visa in 6 months, will this impact me. and what are the correct answers to give in this particular case.

    Suggestions are awaited.

    Thanks and Regards

I am not sure what you mean by 'mother's visa and passport'. Are you applying for B2 based on her invitation and affidavit of support to you?

To me your salary looks less. That could be the reason of denial.
