Hello everyone, i am currently in final year of engineering and applying for B1/B2 visa to usa. I am applying visa with my family and my parents are taking care of the expenses.... I had my biometrics done and then realised that in DS-160 i put that i am pursuing bachelor of technology instead of bachelor of engineering ! Will it lead to visa denial? Should i inform VO? Should i email them? I already have my visa appointment booked and interview is in two weeks. I am going there for tourism purposes for 10 days during Christmas vacation...I have applied at mumbai consulate...i also have visited other countries.... i am yet to complete my degree ....other details are correct. Please help!

You can create new ds-160 and take both new and old DS-160 form confirmation to Biometrics and they should honor the new one.
Please read this thread which is very similar to your situation,

ds160 can be changed after biometrics
Writing as of Jan 2019.
Changed ds160 after biometrics (night before visa interview). Called helpline, asked for the process and here it is.
1.Submit new ds160 (Did it the night before interview)
2.Log into visa portal (the CGI account we use to pay and schedule visa appointment)
3.Click on Edit Profile, change the ds160 number and click save.
4.Now print the new appointment confirmation and new ds160 confirmation (bring them for the visa interview).
5.Let the person who checks you in about change in ds160, they will send you to seperate counter inside the consulate where they will double everything.
6.After that you will be sent to regular queue.
Although I wouldn’t recommend changing ds160 after biometrics, but this is process involved and only change ds160 if you have no choice.
