Travel to country before 6 years

Hello

I am applying visit visa on 9th of November 2016. I visited Netherland in 2010. Can I mention that country in ds 160 question asking which countries you travel in 5 years.Because it can make my case strong but problem is that its 6 years back.

It asks for places you have visited in the last 5 years and your 2010 travel to the Netherlands does not apply, therefore I would not list it. Past travel in addition to other information could be supportive in general, but it will not make a case strong in and of itself.

Thank you. Actually I am reapplying, I got reject with 214(b) last month. In form I did not mention Netherland but when consular asked, I said yes I visited netherland but in 2010. Do you think I should not mention Netherland because in form I did not list it. Now If I do not mention Netherland in form then consular can have record that in last interview I replied Netherland? So should I mention or not in form or in interview?

If you visited Netherland 6 years ago do not list it. Only list the countries you visited within the last 5 years. Follow the directions carefully and answer the questions honestly. Thomas Falater
