Question about parents visitor visa

Hai All ,

I am planning to bring my parents to US and their appt. is at chennai counslate......My question is :

-- In visitors documents they said that my parents should provide their marriage certificate at the counslate but they do not have it as it was a long time back.....they did not get their marriage registered as it was not compulasary at that time .......so is there solution for it ?

please help me abt this .....

Have some kind of proof that they are married. An affidavit also helps.

Where did u see you need to provide parents marriage cert?? Normally, u need to provide UR mariage cert. if u are sponsoring ur IN-LAWS.
