scheduling an appointment online

I have entered all the information on the VFS website.
Can someone please guide me how to schedule an appointment now? Because everytime it says my application has been saved and I don't get any dates for the interview. How does this online appointment work? I would appreciate if someone can give me a step by step process.

once you have filled both DS156 and DS157 it will take you to a screen which says schedule appoinment, save and exit below the link for DS256 and DS157 which have been checked in red after the application is filled. click on the schedule button it will show the dates that are available click on the date you want or if you want to see if there are dates available earlier click on the back button after 2 attempts at back button it logged me out and took me to the home page so click on save and exit and click back button this only if you want an earlier date else click on the first available or the desired date. once application is filled you have 30days to get an appoinment else the data will be erased.
