  • b2 visa refused twice because my wife stayed 4 months out of her 6 months inside usa

my wife visited the united states in 2014, during her interview in June she told the visa officer she was going for 2 weeks in July 2014, but after she got the visa she could not make it due to family issues. she later traveled to the states in September 2014 when she had longer vacation days and she was giving 6 months to be in the country on arrival. but she was in the states for 4 months out of the 6 months and returned back home. i later applied in November 2015 to visit for Christmas with my wife as she still have a valid visa, but my visa was refused on the grounds that she told them she was going for 2 weeks and she ended up going for 4 months. In August 2016 i applied again to attend a conference that i was invited for and the visa officer asked me again about my wife and why she spent 4 months, i told him she was there for holiday only and he refused me again because of my wife. what i dont get here is that my wife never over stayed and she went to to the US at the time she had longer vacation days and she never over stayed and has never gone back to US since that 2014 even though her visa is still valid. i have my own company here and my wife have a permanent job. i don't know why they keep refusing me because of her, because i have so much travel history, i have been around the world apart from the US. Now they dont even want me to go for my business. please i want to know what to do as i am planning to reapply in march 2017 to attend a conference in New York. please advice me on what to do so i wont be refused again. PLEASE HELP

I don't think your visa rejection is based on your wife's stay in US. You can apply for business visa and bring the invitation letter that you have received from NY company.
