B2 Visitor visa rejected for mother-in-law - Hyd-Telugu interview on Nov 10, 2016

Hello,

My mother-in-law attended B2 visitor visa today i.e. Nov 10, 2016. They asked her to apply again. She is a home maker. she was asked what their annual income is and she answered 4 lakh/annum.
Even without asking who is sponsoring the visa, she was asked to apply again. Thats unfortunate.

Is she eligible to apply immediately? may be within a week or so? Is that a good idea?

If she is home maker, she should truthfully tell her that she has no income. If she randomly says 4 lakh/annum, the officer will obviously reject the visa immediately.

If she really has that income such as through interest or other investments, she should be ready to show the proof of the same.
