Visitor Visa and Revisiting USA

My parents will be returning to India in end of May 2006 after approx. 6 month stay on a b2 visa. They plan to attend my wifes baby shower in October 2006.
Will the visa officers allow them and give them another six month visa to take care of the baby and stay with the new born since this would be their seond visit in less than 5 months?
Is baby shower a legit reason for staying six months?

U may or may not get 6 mths. Its all upto the POE officer. Thats why I said, ur parents should go back way before May so that the officer may not think that u are visiting too often.

U can say babyshower as a reason. Also u can say xmas/new year gettogether.
