Hi,
My mother-in-law is applying for B2 tourist visa. As per VFS's new rule, we need to provide my wife's(her daughter) original birth certificate. However, the problem is that my wife's date of birth is different in the birth certificate provided by Govt and that is in her passport. The DOB in passport is the same as in every bank account, academic certificates etc and hence difficult to correct.
How much of a problem is this? We are planning to provide an affidavit signed by my wife to support this. Would this be enough?
Thanks in advance
Raj
