Good evening,
While preparing documents to sponsor my family members to visit me on a tourist/visitors visa, I noticed that original birth certificate is required.
"If you are a non-U.S. citizen:
Your Original birth certificate. If you are sponsoring your in-laws, your spouse's original birth certificate is required instead. "
I am a green card holder, and during the green card filing process, I provided original birth certificate, Hence, the my birth record was verified by immigration during the green card process. I am wondering if this is really needed during my family sponsorship. Can I use the copies of birth certificate instead?
Thanks
