I have a situation here:
My husband sponsored my mother and father early this year. Now next month my sister is going for interview along with 2 kids.
I would like to know

1. My sister's I-134 will show that my husband has sponsored for my parents this year.
My sister's husband already has a visa and will mention in the interview that he is coming along with them. (so total 4)

What bank balance should my husband in (US) carry ?
other assets we own a house ..
[I cannot sponsor as I just started working 3 months back]

2. Are kids to accompany to the consulate ('coz previously kids were not allowed)

3. Can her husband {who already has a visa} accompany the kids ?
if Yes, does he need to carry his passport along with him?

I134 should show previous affidavits submitted by ur husband.

What bank balance should my husband in (US) carry ?

atleast 10-15K?

If kids have appt scheduled, they can enter consulate.

3. Can her husband {who already has a visa} accompany the kids ?
if Yes, does he need to carry his passport along with him?

NO. Only people with appt can enter the consulate

actually my first Q is a little different

My sisters I134 will show that my husband sponsored my parents this year
SO, keeping that in mind, I would like to know if we would need 30K in the bank as total people visiting us will be my parents and My sister, her 2 kids and her husband (who already has a visa)

I don't think u should show any balance for people already has visa. Show atleast 5K per member for new visa applicants. The more the better.

also, 1 quick Q:

Will it be required to send seperate I134 for sister and kids.. (kids are minor below age 7)
or one for all 3 is okay?
[i have read supporting documents 1 set for all 3 is enough]

I have one more Q

My sister's husband has a good bank balance (and he is in a good position), but we have only around 15k in the bank
1. Is it better for my sister to sponsor herself OR is it better that my husband sponsor her and the kids ?
2. Is it okay that we write in the DS-156 form
Q. 28 : Who will pay for the trip?
A : Husband (my sister's husband)

AND also send in the sponsor documents

When asked we can show both bank balances (my husband's as well as my sister's husband's) and mention : Her husband will pay for travel and my husband will take care of other expenses here..

I did read in the forum that you have to mention the sponsors name only in the the Q.28 But is it really true or this is fine!

ANOTHER option :
My husband sponsor my sister and my sister's husband sponsor for the kids..
Is this option okay

If ur sister's husband is in good financial state, he can sponsor. U don't have to mention that you will pay expense here. (u can send money to him if needed :-) )
For Q28 on DS 156: u have to write the name of the person and in brackets, put the relationship. (like xxxxx (Husband))

I don't recommend doing the following:
My husband sponsor my sister and my sister's husband sponsor for the kids..
