Apply Visitors visa with H1BExtension

I am yet to receive my H1b extension, but I have the letter from the lawyer that the extension has been applied. I wanted to know if we can apply(in VFS) with this information alone?

yes, apply with ur current H1 details as well as ur extension docs such as receipt from USCIS
