chenni to delhi

Hi friends,
my parents got visa appointment on aug 9th from chenni in english.I see some dates in july but could not prepone .do u think it is good to cancel and try from delhi consulate where dates available in june.we can apply from urgent need.There is a difference between emergency and uregent need.
I'm trying to contact people who followed this.

If your parents live in Chennai, they cannot go to Delhi Consulate for their interview.

My parents are from andhra HYD.

Since their residence is from south india, they will not even get option to choose delhi when applying for visitor visa.
