Will stamping of my H1 visa, help my parents get the visitor visa

Hi,
My parents have an appointment in Chennai consulate in August for the visitor visa. My H1 visa is expiring in september and I am applying for the renewal of H1 after 2 weeks. I may get my I-797 approval around June..

Do you think that I should go out of america to get the visa stamping in my passport with the new I-797. Will that help my parents in getting the visitor visa ? or If I just send my I-797 , Is that going to be enough for my parents' visitor visa ??

Its ok evenif u don't have the new visa stamped. Just send extension docs along with the current visa docs for interview.

I came to USA as a dependent. I started working after one year and my previous visa expired as of june last year. I sponsored my mom last week without H1B stamp. So it should be okay. Good Luck.
