My father-in-law's health is in poor and urgent condition and wants to come to the US for treatment. He's not a citizen or permanent resident, but has an unexpired tourist visa which he should be to use to come here. At the point of entry what documents will the CBP officer ask for if his intention is to get medical treatment? And is it illegal if he doesn't say he's here for medical treatment?
