Additional information requested via email for b2 visa

I have applied for a B2 visa today 09/01/2017 at the U.S embassy in Colombo. The officer asked about 6 questions and finally he looked up the computer for about 2 minutes and handed over a blue paper which is requested additional information of 7 No’s . The blue paper states that i have to email those information to the embassy. I have emailed to them all the necessary information to them today itself. Did anyone experienced this kind of situation at the US embassy? They have not requested any additional documents, just they needed some information from my side. How long it would take to receive a reply from them? .. Please share your experiences. Thanks.

Administrative process is very common. Processing time varies depends on what kind of documents have been requested.

1. countries previously visited and date of visit
2. Names of children and date of birth
3. Name of spouse and date of birth
4. Names of siblings and date of birth
5. Address where I lived for 10 years
6. Previous passport numbers
7. Prior occupations or employers for the last 10 years

The above information they needed and I have emailed them on the same day of my interview which was held on 09/01/2017.

My Administrative process was updated on 07-02-2017
I've sent an email to the US embassy, Colombo requesting the visa status
Again, on 13-02-2017 AP was updated and on the same day I received a call from the embassy to submit my passport.
I have submitted the passport on the same day (13-02-2017).
Yesterday, 14-02-2017 I have collected my passport with 5 years multiple entry visa to USA..
