thanks for the help well in advance

Me and my wife are planning to go to U.S. for attending my son's Graduation ceremony. In the DS-156 form we have mentioned the fact that we are sponsoring ourselves.Right now my son is under his OPT and working for dell and his VISA STATUS IS F1.My queries are as follows

1.Should we mention the fact that he is under his OPT
2.What should we reply to the visa consular officer if he asks why was my son's visa status been changed to h-1?

Somebody pls help me.i hve not seen this kind of query in the entire forum and added to that we have our visa interview on april7th.so PLEASE REPLY SOON

      Hi!

Yes you can mention he is on OPT

Why would they ask why he changed to H1 when you say his status is still F1? But even if it does change there is no harm to state it.
