Procedure for parent applying for US visa with 2 kids (<2 yo)

Hi,

I'm planning to travel to the US with my 2 kids (both under 2 years old). I have filled out 3 separate DS-160 forms for all 3 of us. Is that okay? Or should I have chosen the DS-160 Family option where I only fill one DS-160 form for all 3 of us?

Also, what needs to be done next for all 3 of us?
