    Hi,

    a)

I'm planning to bring my Father-in-law to the US on Tourist Visa. In the DS156...there is no option to mention that Son-in-Law is in the US. Should we write it? or is it okay just to mention that my wife(ie., visitor's daugher) is in the US, eventhough I'm sponsoring?

    b)

My wife has been in the US either on L2 or H4 with me for the past 5yrs. When I mention that my wife(ie., visitor's daughter) is in the US....should I mention that "she is a permanent resident" or "visitor"?

    Please clarify

    Thanks

a and b) You need not mention yourself. Just circle "daughter" and mention her visa status (H4/L2). Do not write visitor or PR as she is neither of the two.
