Mistake in Visa App... Please Help!
I live in the US and my parents are applying for US Visa.They have had US Visa valid for 10 years in the past and are reapplying .While filling out the DS 160 online, they have accidentally switched the Given and Sur names.
They received a dropbox application email(interview waiver).But when they went to the dropbox,the person at the counter told them that the names on the visa application and passport do not match(which they only then realized).They were told to correct this and to schedule an appointment for interview.
Is there a way to correct names now once the DS160 has been submitted? Do they need to fill out a new application and pay the fees once again?
Will they need to schedule an appointment for interview or can they go to dropbox again?
