Hi everyone, I have a rather unusal problem. I have been a US citizen since 1979 and have worked almost all the years I've been here with proof. My purse was stolen while moving years ago. I had all my paperwork in it along with Illinois State ID and Driver's License, Social Security Card and my Citizenship Papers. I've had an Alien Number since 1973 when I first entered the country that was lost too. My problem is how to get my alien number back to prove who I am. All I have is my job Id and a voter's registration card along with my W-2's. To get A SSN, I need a state ID, to get a state ID, I need a SSN. So I need the number to prove I am a citizen. Is it possible to get my alien number within a month or two? Please direct me to what I need to do!
