my sis on F1 but applied for Green card.. What's correct reply to ?37 in DS156?
Hello.. I have a question regarding ? no 37 in DS156.
I have a sister in the USA... She is doing PhD. She got married to an american citizen exactly a year ago. He sponsored Green card for her earlier this year.. He has submitted the papers and even got a file number from INS.. But my sister is yet to complete the formalites. So she is still on F1 visa. Now about her status what do I write on the application form? Currently on F1 but applied for Greencard???
I have filled... F1 Student PhD... Is that ok?? Or need to change the answer??
Anyone who has gone through similar situation please reply??
