Australian PR - Senior Citizen

Hi All,

My dad who is on Indian passport and has Australian PR for last 7 years and also living with us here.

We are planning a family holiday and will apply for tourist visa on his behalf.

I wanted to ask:

1) he has had two strokes but his fairly mobile and can walk, eat, talk little by himself...
2) he has a bank account but only really has $1000 in it. as we really take care of all his needs as in asian/indian family.

if we do all the paperwork/forms. show payslips of me, my wife, my sister who all Aus citizens.

Will all that be enough for him to get visitor/tourist visa.... or that will be major issue due to his own bank statements... also visiting USA for attending a wedding and family holiday.
